Money-Saving Tax Solutions with June Walker
- Thursday July 3, 11:15am - 1:15pm
- 2 hours | $45 | 30 person minimum
- Self-employed illustrators, designers and artists get little if any correct information on taxes. Tax laws are written for the corporate world and the employees who inhabit that world. Most tax professionals don't bother to interpret those laws to fit freelancers leaving them uninstructed on how to make those laws work to their advantage. The result is overpaid taxes, unnecessary complications in their careers, and anxiety - all of which stifle creativity and cause lost work time. June Walker's easy-to-understand, light-hearted approach instills the confidence to see that taxes are not a boundless and bottomless morass, but an element of business that can be mastered. Learn how to reduce your taxes and the stress of recordkeeping, how to take advantage of every business expense, know when and how to pay estimated taxes, and understand why it's good to hire your spouse, but bad to incorporate.
If you have a topic or question you would like addressed at June’s workshop, email her at june@junewalkeronline.com. Please include "ICON5" in the subject line.
